I love auctions!

I live in Tennessee...where people give rimfires to their 5-year-olds and KNOW that only wimp pinkos shoot "BB guns." I figgered out years ago that the only way I could try out something I was interested in, was to just go ahead and buy it. So I conquered my fear of getting used stuff from classifieds and auctions long ago, ha...
Pinkos. LOL!
Brought back memmories of CDB and Uneasy Rider.
When/where I grew up (I still go home to our family farm) boys didn't want pellet guns as much as RF's, shotguns, and Cf rifles you could shoot anytime and anywhere. There wasn't really any urban sprawl yet. That's what really kicked airguns into popularity.

You and BoG are cracking me up. I live 70 miles from the 4th largest city in the country. There is ONE place nearby that does quality PCP guns and that’s Veradium Air in New Waverly, 60 miles N of Houston. And ZERO places for quality springers. If I want to try a gun I have to buy it and see if I like it because there’s no one around here who shoots them. Crazy ain’t it? Beginning to convert a couple buddies though.

Here's another one of my lucky local finds, sourced through a CA gun forum and advertised as a "BB rifle."

A Diana 34, dated Feb '92, with equally vintage Bushnell Sportview, for $80.
