I have found the end of the rabbit hole !!!

The rabbit hole exisiting in me found the concrete wall.

There is no need to try to find something better that perfection in all aspects, including:

- perfect accuracy at short and long distance​

- ergonomics,​

-power,​

-reliability​

​

- solid made​

​

-quality​

​

- naturally and super easy adjusts of power with a wide spectrum​

​

- light​

​

- short enough to be easily handle​

​

- perfectly balanced.....​

Once you found that, why to invest more money to get less?

The Western Airguns Sidewinder .30 Cal is all I could had expected form an air rifle. It is just amazing !!

The accuracy, once you get to know the trigger, is absolutely perfect .......... And I mean "perfect" !! ...... If someone that like to shoot EBR with bipods, levels, anchors, planetary scopes and all other equipment they use, compete shooting with this rifle, all other competitors do not have any chance. Not fair game !!

My pcps are tools and I stopped buying more when I noticed some were getting redundant.

This sidewinder really does seem like the ultimate tool that could replace a couple of my fx 30 cals. The only thing that sucks is that the magazines are 150 a pop. But this one really does seem like the one gun to do everything.

Is the only PCP for which I do not see the need to buy an extra magazine.

The rifle can be stored for 5 years with the magazine full of ammo and be ready to shoot whenever you pick it up.

Thanks Emu. How do you feel the sidewinder compares to the rattler? I hear the sidewinder is less powerful than the rattler and of course the rattler is a fixed mag.

I need to save up some funds but I’m leaning towards one of the two for my “final” one

I have never had in my hands a Rattler.

You are right, apparently is more powerful, but also much heavier and long.

The Sidewinder, for my perspectives, is unbeatable. The accuracy it to not believe it until you confirm it by your self.

In my limited opinion, the .30 is better for making long distance shots. The semi function is extremely comfortable and super useful for hunting when you need to send a second pacifier shot.

I have a lot of .25 rifles.

I think I will not buy another Sidewinder in any other caliber. .30 Cal is the adequate for my pretended use.

I’ve also read that the rattler is not that accurate either, I was really close to putting in an order but decided against it since I couldn’t see myself replacing the impact for bench shooting. Good to know the sidewinder accuracy is there

I'm going to be honest here, While full auto and even semi auto are fun, it's only a matter of time before a certain 3 letter agency puts the hammer down because some yahoo does something really stupid, as they always do.
