I have all the PCP rifles I want.....EXEPT FOR

Every time I get a new rifle I think I have all I want, but then I start looking at something else. Right now I am thinking about a S510 in .177 or a HW100 carbine with a rifle air cylinder in .22. I have guns that do what these do, so they would be redundant. Anyone else have this problem and if so, what is the gun you want. The only way to rid myself of temptation is to yield to it.

Alias,

Maybe you should consider a PCP with iron sights. I recently bought Stoeger XM1 their first PCP. I put a Daisy rear sight on it. Wow! What a nice kit! I got the thumbhole Camo.

There is one bad review on U-Tube but my experience is very very good. Accuracy and fit and finish is just great. I usually don't buy affordable stuff and ama high end snob but I wanted to have a nice light iron sight kit. I also bought Stoeger's unique bi-pod made for this rifle. It mounts to the side of the forearm and also holds extra magazines. Magazine are the same as Stornrider I am told. It's prolly made by Snowpeak, China.

I have habitually bought and sold air rifles ever since I first got into them almost a decade ago. I must have gone through at least 50+ guns since. I've finally realized that I only like high end rifles and that I only need two. One compact, quiet gun tuned to around 18 fpe for plinking, light pesting, and small game woods walking. And one that is a more powerful slug shooter tuned for +- 100 yard pesting/benchrest. Anything else is redundant with my particular needs.

"The only way to rid myself of temptation is to yield to it." The dis-ease of the of the dark side holds one to the addiction when only more is the quickest way to fix it and it's only temporary. Being redundant is what the addiction has always been about but it's all about "boys and the price of their toys." If the itch has to be scratched, scratch it because we only live once and when we leave earth, nothing else will ever matter again.

I no longer feel that way. I've been wanting a Taipan Veteran Shorty not long after I sold mine years back. Finally got one in my hands again last week and couldn't be happier. Have had some of the best guns money can buy and while amazing guns they were, the versatility of the little thing is hard to beat for my uses. One gun for all situations for me.

you got good taste for sure ,theres lots of us keep chugging along ,when we get the next gun we are on to the next ,for me i have a M3 coming this week and im already started to save for the next. $100 a week at a time .think ill get the KALIBREGUN TACT SHORTY ,,gotta tell ya about once a week i look at the WEIRAUCH scroll and love the black laminate carbine so sweet good luck ,

Get the HW100 in .177

I'd never talk a fella out of one of those! My favorite PCPs ever made.

Had the S510 and the HW is better in every way. Except in .22, not a fan of their barrels in .22

i just got the cricket ll tactical last friday and already own a nice one before this one.. question, When i got on to this?, and Worst.. when this is going to end?.

already start to save for the next one and i already have couple on my mind, the thing is I'm pretty sure by the time i get the money I'm gonna end up buying a different one instead the one I want now, so the temptation keeps going and going and looks like I'm not the only one here with that temptation or can we call it "addiction"
