Hey guys can you use car wax on the stock after applying tru oil ? Just curious and thank you

Tru-Oil instructions state that it's okay to apply wax after finishing. I never have, because one of the attractions of an oil finish is the ability to rub more in if necessary to cover small handling blemishes. Or, to give you something to do while you sip your bourbon during a pandemic. And, I'm not sure how to remove the wax before rubbing in more oil.
 
Yes you can! Have used Truoil and wax for years.

Get some Renaissance Wax. It’s expensive but the best. A little goes a long way.

Indeed, even a quality car wax looks fantastic.

I used to use paste wax and it is all good, definitely true. When I started using the Renaissance, I really fell in love with it. So good and such a tiny amount goes so far that the little container last forever. Have a good one Nathan.
