I got my rifle back. fantastic

Hi Guys.
Its Christmas for me just a bit early.
Fedex delivered my FWB 124D today.
It was at Airgunwerks for rebuild.

My first impression was HOW QUIET IT IS. And how smooth
The Cocking effort is not extreme and at 20 yards it hit REAL HARD.
While I'm not taking out the bullseye yet its accurate enough to be a terror to the vermin who need to look out for me now.
Im very happy. The trigger is like butter. Two thumbs up for David Slade

How many rounds do I need to shoot till this thing "Settles In" and starts putting one shot inside another? So far at 60 feet I shot 10 rounds inside 1/2 inch. I want ten inside 1/4 inch

How many shots ? A tin of pellets or a couple of hundred , hard to say exactly. Take it out a shoot it , you'll know when. I always like putting a dozen or so pellets through before expecting top accuracy once the rifle is broke in. Once you get centered at 25 yards , see what the drop is at 35,45,50 yards. I write it down , so you know what the gun will do.

Oh man.. Shooting the .10.4 grain JSB's this thing really hits hard.
I took a couple shots, offhand, at starlings about 50 yards away. Missed both times.

At 20 yards I've shot it at targets. Some bulls-eyes , most were close but not the tack driver it once was

Its snowing outside now so I wait. I've shot about 50 through it so far.
