I give. Put the scope back on the R1 .22

I had a cloverleaf of Crosman Hollow Points yesterday in wind reading the mylar cassette tape tied to muzzle. I was amazed. That's a once in a lifetime group with open sights at 32 yrds. I figure put it back on & see that at 50 yrds regularly. I also moved target to 25 yards as 32 & this terrain. Can't tell if it's bad pellets or wind. See, the tape can be straight down. I'm blocked by house & garage. Once it is in the open, who knows. I know wind at muzzle has most affect but it can be going 4 different directions from here to there. I'm leaning towards spring guns for shear fun & skill building but the dark side is strong. When you do what Chairgun says, hold 2 1/2 over & 11/2 to the left at a real 84, estimated 80 yards & it still hits dead center of birds chest. Yes, I agree. Complete cheating as I never would have believed 3mph would move it 3"+ @ a real 84 yards. I would have held dead center, aimed with 2nd mil on top of head, and I would have missed. The tape was between 4-5 o'clock so I figured 3. If blowing at 3, straight out 90°, 5mph at least. When trees with leaves are swaying, 5mph at least. I read rain, heat waves & wind on skin better but this cassette tape strand is a good learning tool. While there's little to no wind I'm going to try for 5 in 1 @ 25 on 6x. Wish me luck.
