the weather here sucks! Rain and wind
so I decided to pull my wildcat apart to fix the scratching on my mags. I thought FX already had fixed this issue since it has been a problem since mk1 Wildcats but noo..i pulled the rifle apart and I honestly dropped the jaw on the floor! The cover plate for the index arm has a big piece missing and it looks like it’s broken of, but the missing piece,was no where to be found
I don’t get how some thing like this can leave the factory 
well I pulled the arm and sanded the end,that is riding on the mag and the part wenn you load the gun rides on top of the index arm. I don’t know how to explain it, but will show pictures of it.
i started with a sandpaper in 240 then 400grit 600,800,1000,1500,2000 and ended with a 2500grit. I then polished it with autosol to mirror finish and what a huge difference! Now the indexarm just slides smoothly over the mag without sound or scratches
i modded the mags to, so I can follow how many shots I have left in the mag. I drilled 2 small 1mm holes in each mag, and then took some of the wives orange and green nail polish and filled the holes with it. So now wenn loading the orange dot comes in first and wenn I have shot half the mag the green dot will disappear. It work really well,and I should have done it all wenn I got the gun but was busy shooting it
