I fixed my old scopes cross hairs

I had an old bushnell scope with great clarity. It was in my cupboard and I wanted to test it.But the scopes Glass was dirty so I opened it and accidentally Broke the reticle wire.I tried the following things
Copper Wire
Silver Wire
Threads
Nothing worked.Even I used an optical glass.I engraved a reticle but wasn't good.
Glass with a reticle made out of marker lol
What worked;
I had a Samsung Headphone lying around.Opened it.didn't use the coloured wire.There were some white threads rolled.I used very small string and attached it using Super Glue.I used that.It worked like a charm.

Interesting idea that you made work........Any reason you didn't want to try black widow spider silk

I guess its made from black widow spider which doesnt inhabits Pakistan. The tiny wiresof headphones were hard to see.Though the reticle is much better than the old thicker one

That solution is exactly what the early developers of Riflescopes did (over 100 years ago).

They only had access to 'Natural' materials, of course, so used either their own head hair or the webs of various Spiders (which are amonst the strongest 'strands' of any material known to Man).
