A couple of years ago I bought a Wolverine HR (non HP) in .25 Cal.
This rifle is beautiful, comfortable but VERY untrusting. Sometimes accurate, many flyers.
Last night I was shooting with it and the story repeat again.
This morning I walkup and thought: "I do not remember to have recrown that Wolverine".
Went to the kitchen prepared the coffe, and while the coffee was on process I went to the Wolverine.
I removed the shroud and then I saw it:
The barrel HAD NOT A CROWN AT ALL !!!
I took the magic drill bit. Very carefully (the 700 cc bottle goes far ahead of the barrel) I made a crown. Then with a normal drill tip I made wider the hole of the cap of the shroud, and then re-assembled the shroud.
Went shooting and the beauty became a monster of accuracy. Pin point at 65 yards
So:
1.- I am very angry with Daystate because releasing to the customer a rifle with a barrel without a crown; and
2.- Very happy of having now a beautiful and super accurate rifle.
