I did it... Ordered a .25 Vulcan Tactic!!

Ok so the " Hush" shroud is noticeably different in sound,you really only hear the action of the gun which is awesome but it changed my POI a few clicks to the left and I hate re-zeroing my scope. But it's a small inconvenience and so far I love the sniper quiet results I'm getting with the " Hush" shroud. I wish I had a decibel reader to get you guys precise sound results. Sorry still saving up for that. Also the only other thing I don't like is when the " Hush " shroud is off the barrel there's something rattling around inside of it but when it tightly secured onto the barrel it goes away so I guess that doesn't matter as long as it's on the gun it's solid without the rattling. So far I really like this shroud it's definitely doing its job and the finish is really good pretty much matches the factory finish expect for a couple of minor scratches which was already explained to me before I purchased so I'll be filling those in with a " Sharpy " or so black paint it's very minor anyway so no big deal the main thing is its doing its job off lower the overall noise of the gun and I'm stoked. Believe me, I was beyond pissed..... I'd tracked every move of the shipment!! That said, what can you do?? I called Topgun Airgun, spoke to Joe and he said they will make it right. They will ship a new one on Monday, and a return label for the wrong gun.... poop happens as they say... But just disappointed I could not get to shoot or hunt this weekend.

Amoxom, sorry to hear about your gun, Hopefully you will be up an running by next weekend. I took my Tactic out today to do pellet testing 50-100 yards, because i was seeing spiraling yesterday. The best I could come up with is the Petr shroud mod was not on perfect cause possible clipping. With that said I did not put the camera on it today. I've got from .41 inches to 1.00 inches (using polymags) I've tested JSB .25, Mk I's and MKII's, Barracudas, and Air Arms. Groups opened up at 75 ranging up too 2 inches, and at 100 yards was small as 1 inch and as large as 3 inches. Didn't try to shoot today with the shroud off (don't know what i was thinking). I guess i will have to wait till next weekend to get out again, will make a check list for next time. So far 75 yards and under MKII"s win which is funny because at 100 yards AA and Barracudas' seem to be better, but will redo all test with no shroud and see.

Believe me, I even got closer than Amoxom to getting my Vulcan Tactic. Waited, tracked, saw it came at 10:16 a.m. while I was stuck at work all day. Rushed home, opened box, stock looked gorgeous. Wife came home and I showed it to her and started to explain how I needed a shorter .25 cal with my 500 Royale being so long! I look down and read 5.5/ .22 cal on the side of the gun. Very disappointed. Top gun Airgun said they would make it right. I hope he has a lot of .25 cal around.

I can't believe there making that many mistakes. First they send a guy the Vulcan BP instead of the Tactic and then they send someone else the wrong caliber? I don't know what's going on with them but until the complete transfer of ownership is settled for awhile and I start hearing better about TGAG then I'm waiting to order anything from them.

I feel a genuine thrive to get it right from Joe. From the first moment I spoke with him starting with the ordering process to the corrective action needed to rectify the problem, he has been very accommodating. That speaks volumes to me. I am sure the transition is discombobulated as most would be. In the end, I will have a Vulcan rifle in .25 cal with a beautiful stock and the full shroud tune.
