I broke my Lelya Xmas nite HELP THE PESTS ARE ADVANCING NEAR THE FRONT LINES !!

Hi so its X-Mas nite I popped on my nite scope on my lelya .25 to sight in , as I just tuned it to full power now , to take care of the Nite time enemys Which meant I had readjust my nite vision scope for the new combat mission here . So I threw an apple off deck around 35 yards and flipped on my Pulsar N-550 I got the apple in view , It shot 2 inches high (because I raised speed from 760fps to 850fps) so I adjusted it with the one shot zero in the scope and . went to take second shot when I heard a clunk and now there is a little piece of spring hanging out near the cocking lever , did this ever happen to anyone else ? . this is only my 4th time out with this gun

I mite guess and say gun may of not been fully cocked or ? I am not sure first shot worked , hmm I know I have shot it not fully cocked before and nothing broke however I was 10fpe less so maybe extra air toasted the spring ?



If anyone has answer please tell me as the ENEMIES are advancing near the front lines and the Lelya is down , I need a MEDIC here anyone have a cure ?

If not I will call in the Taipan veteran 22 , Or a heavy air strike with the R-5 30 cal . I will hold off unil you guys can help me out on the cure ?

I shall be working on the lelya but I cant leave the front line long they advancing quick HELP

OK I took your advice and installed pulsar and I had left the Lelya on the operating table for Brian , I threw it ion the R-5 grabbed a 52 grain slug to sight it in and low and behold , The enemies had already taken over back yard and stole my apple , so I am deploying a new apple at 35 yards to sight in for my 30 cal slugs . Let the Games begin , I am heading back out .!!!!! its me or them

I had to come in for a fresh battery for the IR , The ground is red and you can just smell BALLISTOIL in the air , they are dug in now but I have to get back out

I just received some spring from Brian. It's a easy fix. My R5M had a similar break but I could see the left side was loose and had to take extra effort to get side lever in the locked position to fire, if not a puff of air and the bolt kicked back. Hope this helps.

If it’s the little handle spring, I shot mine for a week like that. You just have to rack the gun with that handle and make sure it clicks in when you push it forward. It’s a pretty simple fix pull the stock, remove air tube (no degassing required) and pull the bolt out of the bottom of the slide, then install spring.

I wonder if Ed can upgrade the spring to a stronger/thicker one. I would hate for this to happen to my R5M. Seems like having some spares on the side would be a good idea.

OK I am awake the fire fight lasted threw the nite I shall call edgun west now for , supplies and shall keep the enemy suppressed till supplies arrive

Ed did upgrade the springs. Some went out without knowing they were not properly made buy his supplier. I have replacement springs . It's a simple job, and the gun is not out of service BTW. You can use the other handle to cock it the only thing that little spring does is return the handle it does not act as a lock.

Thanks Brain also I was not aware that I could of still used it for battle , I didnt want to mess it up LOL , being this was my latest weapon system LOL

I should of known such a small part could not stop the ED-GUN LELYA for securing the area and keeping the enemy at bay .

The problem appeares recently when some guns assembled and send to customers. The problem was with the tempering of the spring wire. So, as soon as I found that I've sent to my dealers the warranty springs, so not a big deal, you can apply either to your local dealer or to me directly and I will send you the spring directly. The next batch of the guns has better springs.

On the other hand I know that I do everything wrong :-( That is nor normal when the head of the company is dealing with the customers directly not via the sales office, or the public relation office. That makes me not so important. Based on that people don't consider the company as serious, just another guy from the guarage... As a matter of fact, recenetly one of my friends aksed me why EDgun is a bustard in the airgun world?

Ed and Brian are the reason I bought my edgun. Both are stand up guys that actually care about a customer after the sale, not just the next sale. I also have a streamline.... I wanted a gun I felt comfortable working on and taking hunting. My next gun will probably be another edgun.

ED not true , Your business and Brian's business here in USA is growing and can go anywhere you want to go with it , I used to do auto repair , and I stayed small and personal meaning I did all the work , While some friends Had grown to big dealerships and many workers ,I did not , they became just owners of a huge amount of employees , I didn't want to ruin my name , I knew each customer and like you I would check up on them if I didn't see them and I was happy when they did not have problems , and I as conscience and I would stay up at night if I had a problem I didnt finish or figure out the problem yet , I see you as this type of bushiness and Brain is same . he spends his time doing research to try to better the product and like you make tweaks like heating a spring to temper it more or any type of change . Me I as happy being small and while we all need money to live , I really did it to help people . and while doing this I had make money .

Friends all have opinions good or bad it is all ok , But what matters is what makes you happiest , and I think you are man who is happy seeing us old guys feel like kid again cause of your products , and for me it is a pleasure to deal with Brain he is and ays the way it is , he doesn't lie or try to mess any one over , While other brand grow quick by Hiring a team of good shooters to endorse your product It grows by people like me ho tried it nd wondered why they didnt try one 10 years ago , it may have saved me alot of guns in long run lol , but I like playing with pcp guns still ,

that is until I move out West and build me a 1200 yard range then I may be centerfire again , but for now , My center-fires are PCP at long range to keep my dialing skills as where I live their is no land affordable to hunt on and target practice in wood is against law ,WE need better laws
