I am pretty new to PCP's....

After reading a lot information I finally caved, and bought a .25 Marauder, just to test the PCP waters. I bought a hill pump and few tins of the JSB Match Diabolo exact Kings, along with a 4 x 12 X 44 Leapers mill dot scope I took it straight out of the box and sighted it in at 30 yards. By the time I got half way through the second tin of pellets, it was shooting 5 pellets almost in the same hole at 30 yards. At 20 yards it will put them in the same hole about every time. This past weekend we killed about 20 squirrels with it. So far I am pretty impressed with what this gun will do.

I have a Chronograph on order and it should be here this week. I am anxious to see some string numbers. Seems like I can get about 24 good shots from a 3100 psi fill.Do you guys think it would be possible to tune this gun to get 32 accurate shots? I will mainly be squirrel hunting and maybe some other small game animals. I would like to still have good killing power out to 50 or 60 yards. Thanks for the help!

It should be possible to get a few more shots though you may have to sacrifice a bit of power. There are also hammer debounce devices like the FFH and SSG available as aftermarket mods that will help shot count.
I have only tuned one gun so far, but bear this in mind-
*You will need a Chronograph.
*Read all you can so you understand what you're adjusting and how it works before you start.
*Record your stock settings before you start tweaking so you can go back to the beginning if you need to.
*Make notes of changes and shot strings.
*Tuning takes time, patience, air and pellets!
Here's a good disassembly video on the Gen 1 which may help you understand the different adjustments and what they do.

Congratulations on your purchase; the 25 caliber Marauder is a good platform.
At 20 to 30 yards, the drop in velocity is not obvious; you will think you are getting 24 good shots, provided your distance is less than 50 yards. As your shot distance gets extended, a 16 fps difference translates into a 1 inch vertical strike difference at 100 yards (with your pellet, gun, and probable velocity).
