I am blown away by what this rifle can do, so was the Squirrel 🐿

100 yards with the 177 red wolf, 30 foot pounds with NSA 15 grain. He was facing me so I went for the CV cavity. He jumped 6 feet in the air when I hit him, I’m sure it was dead before it hit the ground.

I am constantly amazed.

‘twas off a rock solid bench…but I’ve whacked plenty offhand at that distance and farther (crows).

I misunderstood your question. This rifle shoots absolutely fantastic offhand. Maybe the best I’ve ever shot. And I’ve owned 20 to 30 target rifles of various types, many of which were 10 m rifles.

Yeah…with slugs, even if they don’t groups perfectly short range. They maintain the groups well at long range.

I was shooting 145y today with .22 nsa 20.2gr 

20-25mph winds so 10moa holdover.

this same ammo will make a 3/4” ragged hole at 50y. In perfect conditions.

@flintsack, well done and well, I can say I am a fan of the little guys for distance too. My prophet compact could reach out successfully 75-80 yards for one shot kills using 13.4 gr KO, damn I miss that gun.

Another great shot there!! Those .17’s are pretty amazing once you get them dialed in. That’s another caliber on my slug gun list.

Nice shoot'n Mike! I've been on the hunt for a while now for a good slug shooting .177. I have a Dar 177 and is great with pellets not much for slugs. Gone through a few Hatsans but no luck. My very first Maverick was a 177 which was OK but still not what I was looking for and has turned into a 22 Sniper Mav. I pre-ordered the 177 slug liner from Spaw sometime last year but still hasn't come in. Today just picked up a RTI Priest 2 Performance off the classifieds fingers crossed!!! Maybe I should just bite the bullet and go for the Delta Wolf???
