Looks like Weihrauch has been busy. Just saw this on IG and it’s nice! What y’all think? I’m still not crazy about those slots, but the whole package looks fantastic.

I've been drooling over this all morning. The 98 never appealed to me but this one really does. Hope to see them available in the U.S. soon. I bet it's gonna cost a pretty penny though $$$.

Oh, they could do without the slots but at the same time I kinda like them? I think I would prefer no slots

Try talking to the guys at AoA and ask if it's something they can order as a special buy of X amount of rifles and try setting up a group buy. If you could get 25 or 30 buyers on board (or more) to make it worth their while, AoA might be able to get Weihrauch to build them.
Same basic deal was just done by a group on GTA through AoA to get Weihrauch to build a bunch of HW50s .20 cal rifles, so maybe you could get the same deal done for those laminate 98's with enough buyers on board.

I'm a big Weihrauch fan but I'm having trouble getting past the slots. Maybe some checkering there instead?

I need to talk to my budget first, but did think of that (calling AoA anyway) Would be nice if they just pumped out regular production models like these across the whole line. Charge a premium, but make them available.

I have a Beaaman R11 and it has slots. I will agree the slots are useless but I think the look good. They kind of balance out the aesthetics of the black & brown. The picture of the laminate looks awesome.
