Said earlier I didn’t want two guns with same stock. Two weeks ago I got a HW97.177, same stock. I love thumbholes. Getting a collection of 97’s .
Anyways I have to thank Fischer for waking me up on the .25’s, had a few but forgot about them in corner. Pulled them out. Really enjoyed shooting them. I’ve ordered a 77k—95l—and the infamous 98 all in .25. The 98 I think is going to be the girl of my dreams. Have it in .22, definitely a favourite! All are in training for sniping tree rats. Crow

I couldn't warm up to the HW97 or HW77 when I found the HW98s.

And the HW80 .25. So the 98's are .177, .20, and (of course of course a MUST) the .25! In the 98! What a dream rifle! It IS!

All the 98s are dreams to me and I am missing the .22 but since I have the .22 HW95L I've really no "need" to fill in a .22 gap with a 98.

Anyway, I've got the PCP Falcon, Theoben Eliminator, HW95L, HW98, HW80 all in .25. They are all the last word in air rifle shooting mostly because of the accuracy of the .25 at low and high speed. The .25 beats them ALL!

In pellet rifle the .20 is another GOOD choice but that's another story about the .20 being great in lower and higher velocity in accuracy.

I love the .25 just like I love the .20. Misinterpreted Match Calibers.

You can’t beat a break barrel as far as the springers go the under levers 97 and 77 I find are a bit of a nuisance trying to release the caulking lever, especially when it’s colder. The accuracy makes it worth it though.

I haven’t ventured into .20 yet. Trying to stay away because of pellet choice and I already have about 150 tins of other sizes. I hear nothing but good about the 20 calibre, so it’s driving me crazy. If I get one it’ll be the HW98. I only have Springers maybe 15 decent rifles. I would have to say the 98 is my favourite. Ironically I only have a 22, sweet squirrel gun. Crow
