HW97K which caliber and pellet?

Brad is that out of the box with no tuning? Which pellet would you use for squirrels? Thanks for the help man!

Yes. I don't buy them to tune. Some do. But when you buy a Weihrauch you don't have to do nothing. They shoot right out of the box. I have 2 more Weihrauch HW50's. One I bought used is stainless look synthetic stock. It is just as accurate as others I have. The other wooden one I need to shoot it more. I am sold on Weihrauch rifles.

The only gun I have that is more accurate is a Feinwerkbau 300 S. And I killed a squirrel with it at 20yds like it was nothing. Shot placement and accuracy is more important than ft/lbs.

Now this is too big for a squirrel gun, but it is scary accurate. That is why it's my personal favorite.

But for a good squirrel gun it would be hard to beat a Weihrauch.

You might want to look at the HW50S. Lighter to carry for sure.

Weihrauch rifles seem to like H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64grs. And you can try JSB from 7.87grs to 10.34grs.

No problem buddy. You push a .177 pellet accurately at around 850fps you are gonna kill a lot of critters. Hit them in the head and most are gonna die.

For squirrels, i have had good luck with JSB Match Diabolo Hades .22 Cal, 15.89 gr. out of my HW97K.
