HW/Weihrauch HW97K Trigger Issues - When Safety is turned off gun fires

Swapped springs a few times and never had issues. This last time though I swapped springs and put the gun back together and had been shooting it and all of a sudden it went off without pulling the trigger. Then it wouldn't catch when cocking. Seems that has worked out but now I am down to when you cock the gun, the safety engages, as soon as you take the safety off the gun fires.
Im sure Im missing something like the order in which its put together or something simple but Im not super well versed on this thing yet so does anyone know what to look at? I took the trigger pack out again last night, checked my adjustments and all seemed good. Put it back in and same thing.

Did you look at the sear engagement torx screw? Often called the "forbidden screw" for the eaxact reason you describe.

It is discussed here starting at 1:45

Let us know how things turn out.
Have not as I didnt touch it. There was enough meat on the contact there as seen thru the window while its outside of the action. Seems when hitting the safety to fire or off its contacting the trigger mech and moving it enough to fire it. Maybe it does need more setting there. I can look at that screw and adjust more contact into it and see what that does. I figure its just an adjustment, hoping. Thanks

Thanks for posting this. That explanation he gave was very clear.

Trigger adjustment too hair ?

Back the trigger fully off. ( Hard no pull cant fire ) Then slowly adjust it back to a nice easy pull . Decock and recock as you go to check.

If you hold yhe hun upright when adjusting lighter pull watch the trigger blade fall as you go .. when you see it falling test as you go

One more thing.. lol

I put a spot of blue loctite on the trigger adjustment grub screw threads cause tecoil van cause ot to back off to a lighter more hair trigger and cause that issue you got as well. That put a stop to them surprises ..lol

The sear screw doesn't usually adjust itself. If you didn't change it I would look closely at something else. The Rekord trigger normally has plenty of engagement to prevent a bump fire before the first stage is taken up. And you can see the engagement through the little window in the box. Is your first stage operating correctly? Some people adjust that (the screw in the trigger guard) too light and the trigger doesn't reset properly. I saw one where the spring under that particular screw was crushed and not working right.
