Weihrauch places the date around 1998? That’s what is confusing I guess if I wasn’t lazy I would break it down and measure it.

I would assume 26mm but if you're planning on tearing it down anyway you may as well just measure the compression tube and then place the order. Vortek ships fast. You could just order both and play it safe. I think they're only like $17.

Also from Mk11 to Mk111 which has the push bottom on the end of the cocking level.
Mk11 has a switch on the underside!

A original Centenary Model has that written on the left side off the action.
And the cocking arm is bright polished instead off blued.

The gun is lighter than my 77 , it is a .20 cal. A terrific shooter. Running about 709 fps with H&N ftt 11.42s. I believe they must have been 12fpe guns? I’m going to Vortek it with a HO kit like my 77.

Beautiful gun and 20 caliber to boot. I'm extremely jealous. Although not that it matters, I don't understand how it could be lighter than a 77. Is the 77 just that, a non K and laminate model as well? Most 77s are Ks. The laminated stocks are generally heavier. I have a 97kSE (laminate stock) and had a 77kSE (laminate stock) IIRC they were pretty much the same weight. I'm not trying to be a dick just trying to understand. It's a GORGEOUS rifle..

Oh After the full power Vortek kit it should push 11.42s close to 800 fps and 13.73 JSBs about 730. Depending on altitude. The twenties seems to be inherently accurate.

Idk, the 77k is just the regular wood ( new ) model. Both have the same scope but after shooting the 77 the 97 feels lighter, not by much. I have not weighed them so it may just be me. Both are perfectly fine and both fun to shoot.
