HW95 safety

My new HW95 has been delayed because of C-19 and want to know if this is correct? After cocking/loading the safety is auto engaged and if the rifle is then taken off safety that the cocking must be done again to engage the safety? Example you are hunting and change your mind on a shot but you want to put the rifle back in a safe mode without firing. Thanks

Yes. 

VMach used to offer a resettable safety, they were expensive from what I remember. Check Krale, they may have one if you're interested.

Those resettable safeties have been discontinued for a while now. Not sure about the other HW models, but what I usually do with my HW30 is to decock it by compressing the spring and push on the safety release and the trigger at the same time. The sear disengages and the gun is now de-cocked.

Discontinued for a reason. Too many issues of failure. Load on safety of spring pressure caused issues. To the best of my adventure. I had asked about this years ago. I did make one but I saw why the issues. Could be wrong,
