Hw95 redemption

I posted a bunch of groups earlier today and my 177 95 was the least impressive. Which is weird because it usually vies for top accuracy spot with my 97. Tonight after dinner and a couple of beers I shot a row of FTTs and a row of JSB 8.44. It did well enough at 28, I stretched it out to 50 yards. The group by my thumb was my 95. Without measuring I'm pretty sure it's MOA. The first three was my 17 HMR.

This 95 was my first Weihrauch and started my addiction. I'm glad it didn't let me down today.

The 97 is easier to shoot accurately but isn't my cup of tea. It's heavy and not as easily cocked and loaded as a break barrel. I just like the 95 better because it's more fun to shoot and is just as accurate. It just requires a little more concentration to be that accurate. It's typical accuracy is still very good. My 95 has bested my 97 on days it had a better fitting tin of pellets.

Thank you for the opinion buddy. I’m sure I will find myself down the hole getting both eventually

Yeah, that's what usually happens. Besides the HW97, I've got four HW95 family rifles, three HW30s, a R1 and a HW50. Way more than I need. Especially since I can shoot PBs on my property too. I could easily get by with the first two I bought, a HW30 and a HW95. All the rest were bought as nice to have curiosities. They stack up after a while 😅
