HW90 power capabilities?

I used to shoot into wood scraps as a back stop - graduating to 6x6 cutoffs; but for years I have used a 22 bullet trap inside two trash bags and two cardboard boxes - safe, no mess or splatter, easy to clean up and store out of the way when not being used. I think your gun is very weak - what constitutes a "full" charge is how you want to set it up - the pictures below are what I used, but now I have several HPA pumps so that's what I would suggest if you have access to one. The pump and fittings cost less than the adapter and it has a gauge which tops out at 400 PSI.

I’ve had one in 25 caliber for years. It shoots the JSB Kings very accurately, but it’s a big rainbow because the velocity is so low. Mine is shooting 525 with kings, I believe it was well over 600 with mosquitoes. I prefer shooting the mosquitoes. I’m not surprised at all by the lack of penetration with that much frontal area. It’s a big fat slow train.

It sounds to me like yours is shooting to spec.

With either pellet it will knock a squirrel silly.

"...Webley made many .25 caliber Patriots and even sold a pellet that was made for it.
The Webley "Mosquito".It was a 19 grain dome.
A Great pellet that was probably a relabeled H&N FTT as well as the Diana Dome that was also 19 grains
along with the Beeman FTS that was labeled 19.5 grains.
These were considered mid weight pellets. Beeman did make a Laser that was 17.4 grains and was heralded
as a gimmick pellet...."

I just about finished off a tin of beeman lazers the other day in my 1077. Decided to save a few and the tin for keepsake since I was down to less than enough to load the rotary magazine again so it was full . So I was always told with my beeman kodiak .22 not to shoot to light of a pellet in it as it caused excessive slamming of the piston. It always seemed to like crow magnums about as good as any. Then after I had the gas ram put in it seemed to favor even heavier ones better. I always thought the Webley patriot was the same gun as the beeman kodiak in the 90's.
