Is there any comparison between the Diana48 and the HW77? I’m looking purely as an open sights rifle, I got a TX200 with a scope so I’m good in that department.

That looks like a 52 you’re holding and not a 48. They’re the same mechanically but the 52 stock is longer and you have a longer LOP so they feel and shoot differently.Respectfully disagree on the weight of the D48, more so if you aren’t going to add a scope. Lovely rifle but a Vortek kit is a must.

Check with Tom at Vortek, he’s a super nice guy and will help you there. I chose the High Output version and it’s giving me great accuracy and speed with my .177 - 896 fps with the JSBs 10.3 gr.What kit do you recommend for a 177.
