Yesterday on another thread JohnnyPiston asked if I had shot JSB’s out of my Hw77. I recall I had a tin of Heavies in my safe but they were Jumbo’s in the 15 gr range. What happened next was interesting. First thing I noticed was that the JSBS were very easy to place in the breach. Thinking the JSB’s were heavier I aimed the first shot at the top right hand bull, sailed straight over. The scope wasn’t touched from yesterday it was zeroed at 30 metres for the 12.5 Greens.
The first seven shots went high and all over the place (B) The next 10 shots grouped. So I thought I’d try another bull ( B) after 7 shots I couldn’t get the same group and it was getting hot. I was sweating like a long tailed cat in a room full of old people in rocking chairs so I called it beer o’clock time and went inside.
The conditions were the same as yesterday shooting the Greens, distance was the same also 36 metres. It looks like they will group but it think I’ll stick to the greens.
