Hw50s tuning

I have a tube of air venturi tune in a tube as a test and a stop gap solution to the excessive buzz in the shot cycle (vibrating action screws loose too) but eventually want to tune it myself.

What kits do you recommend?

I'm familiar with vmach and the tinbum kits from the UK from when I lived there but less about the US tuning kits. I would just like yo take the buzz and vibration out im not interested in making more than stock power.

Yo say you want yo take the buzz and vibration out? That Air Venturi TUNE IN A TUBE IS SUPPOSED TO WORK. Is will probably lessen your velocity just a little. I would used as directed and be mindful that tube is good for 7-10 guns so don't over do it. I would just make use of that $14.99 lube tune for a while and just enjoy the gun and save the money until it really needs a Vortek tune kit at the end of the useful factory OEM spring life since it shoots so well right now anyway.

Yeah I haven't received the tune in the tube yet so I'll use it when it arrives and loctite the action screws and see how that works. I plan on at some point putting in a tuning kit and treating it to some nicer glass. I have an old BSA air rifle scope 2-7x32 on it right now that I bought used from a thrift store for $8. Turned out to hold zero well and so far has helped me rack up 43 squirrel kills as close range, but I could do with something better with mil dots for longer range shooting.

How would it pick up velocity with a shortened factory spring

Couple theories.... Blowby, or too much piston reciprocation at end of cycle could create pressure drop.

Honestly I don't know.

If you were a manufacturer would you not set your guns up to fall into a sweet spot once they have some age.... Creating a longer lifespan.... Within a 40fps range....
