Howdy everyone and long time no post I have been fervently shooting my powder burning pistol as of late. Minimum once a week and two matches a month. Been having a ball!
This past Monday (24APR) my in laws were in town and I took my FiL out back to the “suburban range” and realized my rifle proficiency had taken a small dip. Me being me, and finding that unacceptable, it’s time to knuckle down again.
I have come to find my rifle prefers .178 (4.52) food best and will turn its nose up anything smaller. That to say, I had to order some more ammo to try. As the H&N Barracuda Match shot so well, I ordered another two tins of that. I also ordered some (500ct/ea) JSB Exacts in two different weights to give a try!
One of the benefits of recording your sessions is catching your mistakes. My first shot that went three o’clock? No surprise in the play back. Check my follow through. Notice the stock bounce more in my shoulder on that shot than others? C‘mom, Brent, much like manners, fundamentals never go outta style. Tighten up!!
Looking forward to shooting some more and updating this thread a little!
