Nice! For a moment I though the metal had a golden/bronze'ish type finish to it. I think i would purchase one but havent heard of anything like this in the states, perhaps someone else has.

From what I’ve read Weihrauch will do this sort of thing for any of their dealers if they order a certain minimum quantity. AOA had a laminate HW30 on the shelves but sold out quickly. I really like laminates and sure wish all rifles came in with the choice. This HW35 is a real beauty, wish I could get my hands on one.

These are good models to cherish! I have THREE but they are the "original" Walnut stocks.
All three are in my cabinet to this day in these variations:
a) .177 Silver
b) .22 Blue
c) .177 Blue
They are 8.4 lbs each but the style will offer all around shooting at any range to the one dedicated to the HW35E.

YUP ... also own 3 being .177 West german "E" with a tad longer barrel, modern "E" and a stainless finish "E" ... ALL in WALNUT furniture.
