HW35 any good?

Good opinions , at a price thats worth it maybe you got to deduct what needs attention under your ownership.

Maybe new spring , seal, jar of moly -$100 front globe with inserts 60$+/- or if you can find the standard fixed post globe for less? Maybe new breech seal $7 . Then add your time + any shipping. See you could be in another $200 on top of what he asks for it

Well, it’s very clear this gun was not New in box. The stock has a lot of wear to it in a few ding marks. The bluing is not perfect in the front sight has been butchered. It shoots very clean, and the trigger is awesome. There’s no clanking or twang in the shot cycle, so I offered him $150. I am now the proud owner of a HW 35

Anyone have recommendations on pellets to try in this gun?
My 35E likes H&N FTT's 4.50 head size.

6 shots with 1st shot upper left to adjust scope then the rest in the main group at 5/16" at 25 yds with front rest.

Chronograph for the FTT's
Muzzle velocity averages 772fps @ 11.44fpe
At 25 yds velocity averages 677fps @ 8.80fpe

Being unknown used and well shot on factory spring and seal thats somthing id count on or doing . Heck you may get away with a good tate down clean up and proper relube as well to get it back up to snuff.. just a little fresh tlc can do wonders. Id Shirley look over its guts and see where i stand and what way best to go.

P.s... also i good through barrel cleaning . hard built up crud dont help

I’m new to springers and have no lube but silicone grease and oil. I have lithium grease but I’d like to know the best stuff to buy. Can you please tell me all grease and oil I need to rebuild this gun. I also have a B40 and a tx200 I need to work on as well. Any other accessories I should buy? A list works be helpful.

I guess determine if a synthetic or leather seal... If the older leather maybe find the synthetic conversation .

Or

Check the lone spring or spring kit ( on sale)

Then his lubes for moly paste

Dont know what vortex got for a 35.

The conversation thing they have if needed

It’s not that old in that box and with a safety button. Plus that rear sight is the new model. Definitely not a leather seal.

I bought the HW35E from Krale a few months ago. Great gun, you won't regret getting one. Krale has the Beech model in stock for $339.00 plus $52.00 shipping. I received mine in 3 days.

Unless you have to have the finger groove I would just get a new one. The new style stock is pretty easy on the eyes and the checkering on the forearm makes it easy to grip.

It is very accurate with H&N Field Target Trophy's
