I just bought this new last year and had it tuned by John Thomas. It has a Vortek spring and seal in it and its throwing JSb 14.3 gr express pellets out at 525fps. The 13.4 RD at 545fps and get this . The JSB Predator GTO 11.9gr domes at 600 fps!!! accuracy is HW legendary. What a super light rig for all day carry. ID think small game up to 25 yards would be very doable. I have a peep site on it.

I love mine, it is insanely accurate and smacks the steel real good. I took out a squirrel once at 35 yards, dropped it like a sack of potatoes. I’m running a PG4.

The peep site is a Rem 597 peep site which fits the dovetails of the HW .Its very compact with protective wings. Aittle hard to adjust with the special spanner tool but once its set you shouldnt need to adjust anymore. Wonderful light package that really packs a punch. Like a sheridan pumped 4 times !

Now y ou have me thinking !!!(OH NO) ha ha . Only airgun I have that s silver is the Sheridan Silver streak. Thats nickel plated I think. But its cool and durable. HW30s is beautiful in either color though and its the perfromance and workmanship that is wonderful. You cant lose. Prices are still good. I think I paid under $300 from Krales.

Looks like the wood stock though is differant from the one I got from Krales. Mine has that Italian designed one. I like it because its a bit slimmer and fairly decorative too. .

Here's mine. It took about 12 weeks to get here. Special order, left hand walnut in .22 from AOA. Incredibly accurate. This is my 2nd 30 in .22. My other is is in a standard stock. Coincidently, last weeks video focussed on the standard HW30 in .22. Let's just say, it performed extremely well. I love my 30s. I currently have 5 of them. That oughta' be enough until something "special" comes along.

Hey thats a nice stock!!! I wonder if that was made by Cocuran ? I like that it covers the hinged block area I too have a second Hw30s in the R7 flavor. Its a .177cal and its scoped. Ver y deadly accurate.Again a Vortek PG4 kit plus it had a full Custom tune by Paul Watts using the sunnen hone to true up the compression chamber. Its shooting 7.3gr jsb pellets at jst over 700fps. &.83gr express at 685fps. 8 ft lb . The 22cal using those no lead GTO Predator domes make 9ft/ lbs .

Thank you! It was a special order AOA marked rifle. They were offering a few models in walnut. I do have a Steve Corcoran stocked .177 cal. HW30. Beautiful rifle.

YEs, it went back and forth in fact becaseu of a problem with the seal. But he finally got it squared away . HEs a super easy guy to talk with too. I gave him a tip for the extra work he did.
