HW30S arrived

Pulled her out the box started shooting , super accurate and sweet trigger . The cocking effort is definitely more stiff than I expected though, should I expect for it to loosen up through use or should I go over the hinged parts and loosen them up ? Tia

Lube the pivot points on the action. That may help. Also some of these guns come with the barrel too tight.

That's really nice. Weihrauch makes great guns. A handy little rifle like that must be a joy to shoot with open sights. Are you going to put a scope on it?

Do what dixieduo says and it should be fine. Also keep an eye on the screws. They like to loosen up on new guns especially springers.

Interestingly....? your rifle has the "old style" stock.... yet the box illustration shows a "new style". Nice rifle! My two get fed JSB 7.33gr ammo exclusively.

Always referred to these guns as "The Gentleman's Springer". They are a total class act when it comes to spring guns. Easy to use and get good results from and not bad to look at either!
