I decided to take my little HW30 out. Shooting at 25 yards, this was the result. I was hitting an old tennis ball at 35 yards, What fun! I used the JSB 7.87 grain pellets.

Nice shooting! has that stock been reworked? Somehow the comb looks higher than the current models. Are you shooting off those bags? If so, do you see a POI shift when shot offhand? My R9 seems to shoot well off the bags but the POI is different from when it's held in my hands.

First of all, the pellets used were the RWS R10, the 8.2 rifle version. My Bad. The stock is a custom made stock, I bought it that way. I only shoot it off the bags, I am too Wigley to get any accuracy off hand. When I was younger I could, but that ship has sailed. Anyhow, I also was shooting my new HW97K. I had been using the Crosman Premier 10.5 Heavy pellet, but found it really likes the HN Barracuda Match 10.65. I also get a smoother shot cycle, and the wind is less of a problem. I got decent groups out at 50 yards, as well as the 25 yards sight-in distance. I was hitting an old tennis ball at 50 yards with a +2" holdover.
