HW30 POI Segue to the POI Challenge

I was shooting the HW30 & was getting great accuracy at 30 yards. Some shots hole in hole (was getting really cocky), so I put it on video. I wanted to do 30 shots, but they were falling in the same group & I couldn’t see the POA anymore So I did “15” instead . Check out my results in this short video.

No, don’t think so. I shoot the JSBs 10.34, 8.4, AA 10.3, and Polymags 8. 

I saw the Laminate .22 as well as the .177 Gold. Decided to pass, perhaps a mistake. However, this one just makes me giggle. 

I mean, it’s a 6.5fpe gun and has the capacity to shoot pellet in pellet at 30 yards! I’m shooting with a x7 scope. Can you imagine a x12 or x16? 

Check out my I Love My 30 thread in the hunting section. This little gun has a huge nads compared to it’s size.

Love the Stock on your HW30. Very accurate springer. Can’t wait to get mine, got HW 30 urban pro on back order from AOA, I got the regular stock, wish I got the laminate one now lol. I did buy the HW double gold that was for sale on here few days ago , comes next week, can’t wait to shoot it. Never shot a HW 30 / R7 always read how much owners love them.

@djna That’s fantastic. I thought about picking up that Gold you got, but holding steadfast for other things at the moment. Mine is the Urban model in laminate, got it from AoA used.

One of the YouTube comments was asking about the FPE of this gun. Something I just basically estimated and did not provide a solid number. The actual FPE using the AA10.3gr pellets is 6.07 for inquiring minds.

I'd just cancel that BACKORDERED HW30 URBAN PRO since its essentially the same gun as the R7 you just bought. Use that $534.66 and shipping refund for a LEUPOLD Custom Shop 3X9 EFR with TRI-MOA Reticle. Maybe later even a VORTEK kit. Yo!

Good idea -on the scope Yo, I thought about it, even tried to buy the one mentioned on the yellow Airgun forum( I was 2nd in line lol) before the double gold was for sale. I want 2 Of them since I got my wife and kids shooting with me sometimes, figured 2 better than 1 between everyone- if there sweet like every says, I’m thinking there the ones everyone will want to shoot most. LOL

I first shot this rifle , a Beeman R7 a few years ago. My friend had the gun , and I liked it. Among others , I already have a FWB 124D. Same light cocking action. Very accurate , but with 12 ft/pounds of energy. And a light rifle to handle , so I put off getting a HW30/Beeman R7. But in time I picked up one with a custom stock. Love it !
