I just received a .177 HW100 Carbine. It is shooting AA 10.3gr at 900fps/18.5fpe. Should I be able to get the fpe down to 15fpe using the reg adjustment and hammer spring tension and still keep a tight spread/everything balanced? Would it be more involved, hammer weight, valve return spring & transfer port?
definitely no need for transfer port adjustment etc - playing with that’d be quite difficult in any case, I imagine, given the design.
