HW100 .177 First Day

I finally got my scope and rings in and on. After spending some time, trying to zero the scope, the best I could, I tried 10 shots with four different pellets from 25 yards. The differences between the pallet groupings is so dramatic, but you can see which varieties it seems to like best. To be honest, there are probably other variables like my being a bad shot but I tried my best on all of them.

You do not have to remove the barrel to clean it , just pull some patches through . A .177/22 Bore Snake will do the job . or fishing line (20# test ) and cut up old T shirt material .
True, but the breech area is very confined. Depending on your pull-through plug, it's easy to start it crooked, which can damage the breech O ring, and it's not the easiest to replace. And, if I bought a used rifle that indicated any accuracy issues, I would clean the barrel with a rod and brush. This barrel is very quick and easy to remove. Next would be a chrono run to check tuning.
