What about fpe/joules? Will the USA marked ones have more energy due to not being legally regulated here (yet)? Or is it just luck of the draw on what Wiehrauch sends over?
You think swapping a uk barrel with a usa one will increase power ? Lol. That happens in / at the receiver the barrel is just a barrel, dead weight

I never thought about or mentioned "swapping" out barrels to increase power, but I suppose twist rate might make some difference along with length. For me, I have found the shorter barrel in the HW97K to be more forgiving in my technique. I noticed over on Krale, they give the option for power and wondered if USA marked rifles were always up on the higher side. If Krale does not give the option, suppose you get what for fpe/joules?

Not many good pictures to grab to show but like this new uk hw95 you may can read the receiver markings and the fpe stuff.. also like German power guns have the "f" stamp to designate them .

Its like squrllfugger saus the usa importer does that usa for his liability and. Like AoA even you changing the breach seal can void the warranty ( says right on the seals page ). Lol. Wow

Anyway

It may be for warranty issues. All my barrels are marked CA.
I’m a warranty repair depot for a lot of companies, not guns. Some products purchased in the US is not warranted in Canada. In Canada I can buy all the Weihrauch’s in either, under 500 fps. ( anyone can buy) or regular factory speed, which you need a PAL to buy.

Like 90% of us here have?
I did have one potential buyer on an air rifle ask me for the numbers one time. That was like one out of 12 springer air rifles sold, so about 8% might have an interest in such numbers? Looks like AN would be the place to buy a well sorted out air rifle in the classifieds. Dreaming about a TX200HC ... Yes, I should invest in a chrono. Instead, another HW showing up on Monday, and its the first for the wife

Well yeah if you're buying second hand there is absolutely no way to know without a chrono. Even if it was originally a full power gun theres a chance springs were swapped at some point. I have more than a few myself that that has been done to. You'll either have to take the seller at his word or make the investment.

Congrats on the new toy for your wife fyi. What model did you get her?

Response from AoA "The USA stamp is for both Warranty and the FAC power. The warranty due to people buying form companies outside of the U.S."
If there the authorized hw service folks then it should not matter. They send that bill back to hw . Im sure there not eating the full cost of any warranty repair out of the goodness of there hart and billfold..

It is funny that AoA claims lifetime on one when hw its just 1 year.

More like you dont buy my stuff you get middle finger service ..lol.

No german beeman i had has a usa stamped barrel , so ? ?..

But then that's how it works in the gool ol US of A .

I bought a new replacement 20 caliber barrel from Chambers in the UK. The power wasn't what it should be. I contacted Weihrauch and they had me send it to AOA for inspection because I didn't want to send it to Germany for inspection. Shipping and customs forms would have been excessive. AOA replaced the barrel for me as per Weihrauch. The barrel originally cost me close to $200. I'm thankful to both Weihrauch and AOA. The new barrel made a full pound of energy over the first one.

What does the “F” stand for? I bought a HW45 new and it had the F and it was low powered only. I sent it back and had them make it full power. Just wondering if there was any correlation. They told me something was wrong with it.

Look here under germany and see the Pentagon "F" mark..

The receivers are stamped to distinguish quickly a legal no license or full power license gun. The receiver is the power plant and most times not so easy to covert to full power then if you do and the guns receiver says not and you dont have the license ... Well not going to be a good day for you if your called to a check by law enforcement. Lol .
