HW-98 .20 cal, H&N FTT @ 750, SWFA 10x 10 dimes at 40 yards

Still need a bit more work (did not pass) but I think the HW98 might end up passing 10 dimes at 40.

I use 35 yards sight in for my three HW98s.

They all have different scopes and different rings/mounts including Diana ZR (the .20 has that and also the .25).

The .177 has a Sport's Match two piece rings/bases with one base having a peg installed to prevent backslip of the scope.

I will change over the .177 to Diana Zero Recoil soon because I want to save the Hawke Scope shooting so nicely so far!

However, aside from me saying "protect your scope" in the Zero Recoil Mount by Diana upon the beautiful HW98 in any caliber.

All of mine are hits to 35 yards. The .177 impressed me with the easiest accuracy after feeling the .20 and the .25 were already accurate at 35 yards to group into 1" offhand.

Long range with the HW98 .20 is possible but I am not sure how good it is across a lake of 100 yards of water to hit a Contadina Tomato Past can at 105 yards like the D54 .20 I have can.

The ONLY reason would be the velocity slows to a point that 100 yards with an HW98 in .20 may encounter problems.

But if there is a caliber that "bucks" drift and wind it truly is the .20 just between .177 and .22.

The Diana Bullseye ZR mount has alot of mixed reviews! Some love it...some hate it ! If the tolerances are kept tight I can see the mount being beneficial. It's when wear sloppiness starts to rear it's ugly head is when inconsistent POI start to occur. If I used one I'd like the Hector Medina modified version. I know others on AGN have modified them similar to the Medina version.
