I’ve been getting marvelous groups just resting my Weihrauch on a firm rest and stabilizing the butt against my shoulder.

What a pleasure to shoot and simple backyard pester target rifle one can truly be proud of.

31 yards from the comfort of a chair inside my home.

Gary,

Stay alert if using 0.177 JSB RS 7.33 gr pellets. I’ve had them fall out when closing the breech on my R7, LGV and HW50.

I’m getting .25” R7 peep sight groups at 10 to 15 yards with JSB 8.44 gr (my vision limits me with a peep). They fit in my breech a little better. Out of the pellets that I have tried, HNs fit all four of my .177 break-barrels tighter than JSBs.

Another good little scope is the Bushnell Banner 4-12 x 40 on medium mounts.

I have 2 R7's with these scopes mounted I have been shooting for 3 + years with no trouble at all. I even made a turret knob for the elevation so I can shoot them in short distance silhouette and they track fairly well.

At the price of these scopes (around 120.00) and as well as they work, they are a perfect fit for these guns.
