HW 110 Barrel Band and POI Shift

I recently acquired an HW110 Laminate carbine in .177, and I love it. It groups several pellets well at 30 yards, including JSB 10.3, JSB 8.4, Crosman 10.5, Baracuda Hunter Extremes, Polymag Shorts, and surprisingly, Crosman Devastators. It has a sweet trigger and is dead silent, despite pushing the JSB 10.3's at 900 fps. However, I do have one small issue. As the pressure in the gun goes down from shooting, the point of impact seems to change. I thought it was the scope at first, but I have noticed this with two additional scopes as well. I will shoot the gun, get is sighted in, then fill it up again, and put it away. Next time I get it out, my groups are still tight, but in a different spot. So, I am wondering if perhaps the barrel band might be the culprit, and if loosening, or even removing, the grub screws that hold it to the barrel might make a difference. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

It would improve with a huma regulator if available - I have the same gun and it’s little bro HW 44 and they have a similar problem

The only reg I see at the Huma site is for the HW100. Is that the one you got?

The Weihrauch reg in the HW100 is excellent. If they use the same in the HW110 I'm not sure I would jump to replace it with a Huma.

I'm not familiar with the 110 design, but I removed the band from my Revere, which fixed a small issue with POI shifts. It was nothing like I experienced with FX, but there were slight changes. The band on the HW100 is solid, no issues. Mine is not a FSB, and a shroud sometimes changes things.

Temperature change between the different metals in the barrel band air tube and barrel can also be the culprit

I loosened the screws that hold the band snug to the barrel to see if that makes any difference. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try it out tomorrow and see.

I mis spoke regarding my weihrauchs - the different metals attached to the barrel can or is the real culprit behind some POI changes as the HW 110 is very accurate in a stable air environment.
