Huntsman Revere report

Was second guessing myself (have been known to... "misremember" on occasion!), so dug up the chronograph results. Did this after a few hundred rounds, to let things settle in:

Didn't record after that, but think the next shot was 860-something, safe to say off the regulator at that point & probably was after shot 62. So 60+ would be more accurate. As with several fish I've caught, seems it grew a little when I told the story later...

If the gauge is to be trusted, regulator is set at a skosh over 140 bar.

60 plus and consistent with a spread of 13 (878-891) is tremendous.

Just looking at the pic with the Carm single shot tray. With your current setup, will the new magazine have enough clearance to fit underneath the scope with your mounts?

The magazine would not fit with that setup (Warne mediums, 731M).

Forgot to add- it would fit with Warne highs, 732M.

Nominal height from base to scope:
731M - 0.400"
732M - 0.525"

The way you have it setup looks to be about where I would want it for a proper cheekweld. I've mentioned it before maybe somewhere in another thread but I wish Daystate would have Minelli increase the height of the comb to take into account the increased height of the new magazine for the Revere. Thanks for the info. Good to know.

Great write up!
Just bought my Huntsman used from AoA in 177 cal. Shooting the same JSB 10.3 (FX branded 10.3). Phenomenal precision at 25 yards. My groups open up some at 50 so not as stellar as your results. I will say 9x and a duplex reticle are not the most favorable of combos to get tiny groups getting past 40 so maybe that has something to do with my spreading groups but I'm not complaining. Still great results. Just shot this tonight at 40 yards after shooting the Taipan. Both are superb

I saw that but the cheek piece looks to be a little too narrow for my liking. I don't feel it would be as comfortable. Thanks though.
