Hunting with Tactacam some months down the road

Been using the Tactacam for a while now & really happy with it. I think for its price point it does a great job for me. Ease of operation, ruggedness & I'm sure if I took the time I could get better, clearer video. It does what I was hoping it would, that being, provide me with a tool to evaluate my shots. I did however post a number of vids on YouTube (search "Gerry reba" on YouTube) for the hell of it in case I want to send some (files too big to email). Here's one from pesting a couple days ago in Pala, CA. Those juveniles make SMALL targets!

It looks pretty good but the left side isn't sharp, you may have a light leak. Check to make sure the gap on the scope adapter is at the bottom; some people recommend using black electrical tape to cover the gap.

It could also be a focus issue, try adjusting your scopes eyepiece. Focus can be a little tricky especially viewing on a cell phone. I use a 10" Android tablet with mine and it makes it much easier.

Good one Gerry. Coincidence but just yesterday I was thinking of getting hold of you and see if you would send me some vids you made. The YouTube link will work instead. Will check things out for sure.
Playing with a Solo here just to see what it will do and the 5.0 definately is a better option as it has exposure settings that allow it to be fine tuned.
Still learning here but having lots of fun and appreciate you helping getting me steered in the right direction.

Rich (Alderman) your vids are MUCH better production quality than mine. I'm just using Windows 10 photo/video editor but it's good enough to allow me to trim, filter, change speeds, etc. Was going to do some "educational" work with the camera today but I'm currently watching a brush fire on camp Pendleton artillery range (about 7 miles from us). Tis the season to be WARY here in sunny SoCal.
