Hunting with 5-25 crimson trace 3

I took my new series 3 5-25x56 mr1 reticle crimson trace ground squirrel hunting with a new Uragan 22 and H&N 22 slugs . 

what an absolute joy this scope is to use! I was shooting from 80 to 200 yards ....clicking elevation on all shots. It was particularly easy on the eyes during extended viewing and was more enjoyable to look thru than my small zeiss mini 8x25.( I forgot good binocs).

Big thanks to Odoyle for this tip! I’m going to test the crimson 3 4-20 with the Xmas tree in a few weeks.

This Prairie falcon

, Rough Legged Hawks, Bald eagles and this Ferruginous Hawk were all hunting the ground squirrels today... an annual feast for them. Fun to watch.

I also love to see the raptors and this red tailed hawk was a front door visitor a few weeks ago.

I'm also enjoying this scope, the rericle at 20-25 is a bit thick, but very usable at min magnification.... I'm curious about the new line of scopes CT had listed. The new ones seems to have better turrets... Will see

I still have to learn to spend money on quality scopes, I am still a scope cheapskate!

Amazing scope for the money!!! Huge amount of internal adjustment, good turrets and very usage reticle once you get use to it. Best $450 scope ever period!!!
