Hunting Scars

I'm sure you have those stories where only you know what happened. Well, here is one from an attempted squirrel wacking some time ago at my parent's house. I don't remember how long ago (probably last year), but I was very cold morning. It was so cold I pulled the shot while sitting on the ground inside the doorway pointing up to a squirrel sitting directly above the scar on a dog eared fence. Gun is a Daystate Huntsman classic .177 16FPE that shoots ZAN 10gr. slugs like a laser. Squirrel high tailed it out of there on impact, but I'm sure I got him two or three weeks later, as I don't let these things go. Happened to walk by this fence post while helping in the yard today, and remembered the day that squirrel narrowly escaped death. No one else would have any context on this fence scar by looking at it.
