In some of my .25 guns I use either Hades or JSBs. Depending on shooting paper targets or spinners and their ranges. But for hunting I stick with the NSA slugs only. Not to be a B A. But most of my hunts are all day ones. Might start out yote or fox hunting till daylight. Then hit the creek bottoms for coon At first light. A lot of the shots are in open terrain and getting close is tough. And after things warm up a bit, I just like the slugs for tree rats. I agree, shot placement is king. I know I have killed a lot more squirrels with my .20 R-10 over the years using lite Polymags. Kind of nice hearing the thud of a solid hit.
