Humidity and pumping

What's the highest humidity you would pump up your PCP with a handpump? Right now the humidity is at around 24% which actually is high for the high desert. Normal humidity is single dig or maybe the high teens.



Forgot to put the qualifier, NO water separator and a chicom floor pump.

I built me some contrapion using damp rid -- anyway -- highest humidity I've pumped at is 100%. I pumped in the rain under a covered porch. Had some condensation on the suppressor due to shooting 100 rounds between pumping.

Sorry didn't get to finish my thought -- when I was doing this there was no moisture when opening the bleed valve. I'd use the moisture output from the bleed valve as a gauge to see if you're getting a lot of condensation during pumping. Depends on humidity, how much pumping you're doing, etc.

I guess I'm going to have to test if the rifle ends up with any water in the tank by draining the tank of air with the bleed screw at the bottom gravity wise and see if anything comes out.
