Use a stiff bent wire and pull it out and throw it away. That is the factory “depinger” which doesn’t deping anything. With your new regulator installed you’ll no longer have a ping.
Another good investment that won’t break the bank.... Installing a PEEK striker from hillairguns will make the mechanical noise even quieter.
