I have a FX500 I'm thinking about putting a Huma reg in. How difficult is it. I see a hole for the reg is pre drilled or started. It shoots fine now but I am so impressed with my new FX400 regulated I would like to regulate the 500. Will I lose any velocity? Around 900fps with 25.4 JSB pellets now. Thanks, Scott

Looks like you're trying to mess around with a good thing going on I wouldn't if I were you. In fact one of my old 25 Royale 500s was regulated and had it tuned and in fact had the reg removed and it shot better night and day difference without a reg. My old unregulated Royals shoot equal to if not better than my newer regulated Royales go figure. One less thing to worry about. Would I regulate them? NOPE! Would I replace the regulated ones with a Huma? NOPE! Would I ditch the regs and just run them unregulated if they went bad? YEP! However Newer FXs (nonRoyales) would improve by replacing temperamental FX regs with a Huma. If they (FX regs) work fine just leave them be! YO!
