Tuning Huma regulator MK2 help please

Ordering the Huma for my impact MK2 power plenum, but confused by the offerings from Huma, gen1 gen2 gen3, I selected the gen3 MK2 110-165 as but the 110 minimum pressure concerns me as I've only used on the original regulator 90-115b pressure. I thought the other offerings seen at the retailers for 80b up seems right but at the Huma sight doesn't offer this regulator, but says the gen3 for the MK2?

Any help appreciated.

I just rebuilt the regulator on my newer Mark II and noticed on some of the older impacts the regulator sealing o- ring inside of the body of the action is a smaller diameter. So I am assuming it was machined different in the body on earlier models. The newer Mark II's take the larger o-ring. Also the regulator piston is shorter on some the older impacts. Having said this, I'm assuming that's why some of the Huma regulators for the older gen1 and gen2. Impacts won't work in the newer Impacts.

Best thing to do if you are unsure of your version, is to pull the factory reg out.measure th diameter of the piston body, along with the washer spring outside diameter.

just did an install on a MK2 bought in April of the this year, and pulled measurements for my own future knowledge-

Maybe his will assist you.

Thank you guys, more replies appreciated.

Bigragu, mine is the same, replaced orings last night but still cannot get very consistent fps even after very careful tuning attempts.

How were the results after your install of the Huma? Did you have problems before or what was your reasonings to replace the AMP?

The results were awesome. Here’s the shot string of 36 shots that I emailed my friend on how his impact was doing after I did the install and tweaked on the gun. I sent him this email thru the FX Chronograph app.

These are with the 30 cal, 44.5 FX Hybrid slugs-

No special reason in changing out the AMP. The gun was near brand new, only less than four months old, but he lives a looong ways from me, so we both agreed, that I do everything possible I could to his gun, while I had it in my mittens, lol.

i don’t know how it even performed under the factory reg. All I know is that gun came wickedly sick to me. All sorts of problems that came with the gun as he bought it second hand.

But that’s another story....
