To all the Marauder experts -
I purchased a Huma regulator for my .177 Marauder Rifle from Nick at Air Superiority and have finally found the time to get it installed and tuned a bit. First, a bit about my overall set-up: Huma regulator with gauge port set at 105 bar, .160" transfer port, Free Flight Hammer, and a shortened air tube. I love my Marauder, but find the rifle very 'nose' heavy, so I went with a shorter air tube to get better balance. To recover the lost shot count I added the Huma & Free Flight Hammer - hopefully this makes sense.
Shooting 13.43g JSB's, I get 50 shots at 835 fps (20.8 ft-lbs) with and ES of 18 fps. I'm really happy with the results but wonder if there is additional opportunity and what performance others may have achieved with a similar set-up. Just another note: the typical Marauder shot ping is completely gone and the report is a little bit lower with the Huma (both great benefits for me).
Please let me know if you have any guidance or can share your experiences. Thanks AGN.
