Huma reg making high pitched sound.

Each time I take a shot. My Huma reg on my impact makes a high pitched sound. Kinda sound like I shot a piece of glass. I don't remember it doing that. I had it for like 3 weeks. My stock fx amp reg didn't do that either but it does creep that's why I switch to the Huma. I know when you shoot the air from the tank goes into the reg section, but it make very little sound and you can only hear it if you listen closely. But now it's making big sound. My wife from across the room could hear it and she thought I hit the window or something. I thought it was my pellet making contact with the ldc. So I dry fire and it still make that sound. What's making it sound so loud after taking a shot? I was thinking of cleaning the reg but thought I post here and see if anyone know why.

The factory reg in my Wildcat has always squeeked. Has shot fine and dandy with no issues since.day 1.

Is it loud? Cause my Huma reg is making a loud sound. Not from the firing. But from air rushing into the reg. It's supposed to be really quiet and only hear it if you listen closely and put your ear next to the gun. But my Huma is making a loud whooshing sound you can hear from across the room. I don't remember it doing that when I installed it. Just started doing it today.

I recently installed a Huma reg in my Royale 400 and I've never heard any noise. Of course, it's a different reg. I wonder if the noise could be from a seal around one of the other valves, and just coincidental with the recent reg installation? Removing and cleaning the reg might be the easiest first step. You could also put the FX reg back and see if there is any noise, that would eliminate anything else.
