Ordered a mod 40X proto.
had STO Accipitor on gun and switched to huma.
was by ear a sharper note and not as quiet.
then lost poi . I mean lost. Was searching , moving reticle, bigger target
shooting 10 ft away. Finally got a 2x4 and aimed in middle. About 2 feet low.
tried again and was confused . Finally removed replaced STO and sighted
back in. gun is a 22 huma is up to 25. This is my 3 rd huma order and like their
stuff.

is this the reason it’s on sale?

I got the Huma 40 Avalanche .25 and the POI is all over the place in .22 and I mean dangerously so, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 20 yards with Gamo Magnums that are spot on out using a Buckrail. In .177 the POI is also poor, not anything like the .22 but still ballistically challenged.

It's quieter than the Buckrail but that's about it. I experimented with the modules and inserts, can't get the .22 to fly straight, not even through an empty can. I think I found a setting that works for the .177, but at this point the Buck Rail is the winner.

It was sooo bad I bought another. The price was right, $80 I think.
I mixed and matched them and one is on my zelos with no problem.
