Huma/huub shrouds for BSA ultra se

Hi guys. One of my favorite close range postings guns is a bsa ultra se running at 14-15ft/lbs in .25 cal. My only issue is it's a little loud for my liking. I have currently got a donnyfl tanto on it, but it's still significantly louder than my brocock (which has a larger suppressor) I don't really want to go with a longer donnyfl because I don't want to add too much length to the gun. The Beauty of it is that it's very compact.

I was looking for experience of these shrouds now made by huma. They are around 105-110 dollars delivered for what should be a good amount of internal volume for sound suppression.and should do a decent job I would think. Just lookING for opinions. I can probably sell the tanto and get most of my money back on it as its almost new to.offset the cost of the shroud.

Interested in this as well...I'm looking for a compact rifle that isn't overly powerful, for pesting around my property. 

I imagine the Huma shroud works better with the British sub 12 fpe rifles, but can't be sure....hopefully someone who has one will chime in and let us know.

This is a sub 12 .25 that's just been tuned up a little bit still relatively low powered

Nice. They're great little guns. I may keep an eye out for a sub 12 one in 177

I had one on my BSA Ultra too. It worked well. But, Motorhead tuned my 12 ft lb .22 JSR and he made it scary quiet. I'd recommend having him work his magic on it.

This is another option. I compared the Huma Shroud against a bunch of moderators. The Huma Shroud is great no doubt, but the quietest sounding to me in my opinion was the Neil Claugue hands down. I don't mind the extra length though and actually like the look of a big can on the end... Huma looks more sleek though hands down.

Yeah for me I wanna keep the rifle length down otherwise I'd just get a bigger can

Website says the shroud is ~5.5" longer than the barrel.

Yeah, 5 inches seems about right. I don’t get to see my gun much anymore. My dad confiscated it years ago. My mom just sent me this pic a couple days ago. I asked what dad was up to and she said dads tired of starlings pooping on everything so he’s on a mission. You can see the gun is still a small gun even with the shroud. This shroud coupled with a HDD is absolutely silent. No wasted air equals less sound.

I have Pizzaman old shroud and Buccaneer. The shroud is now on my Ultra MMC. Work, fits and looks awesome.

I do agree with Pizzaman on the NC stuff. He has mad a few for me and they are hands down the best screw on ldc you can get.
